Couple up, or play in your normal teams, in our Scavenger Hunt of love. On Valentine’s weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to wear your heart on your sleeve, fall in love with London all over again, while challenging yourself to best the other teams! On top of our central London scavenger hunt, all our seasonal scavenger hunts involve an additional list of seasonal challenges, as well the option to play in a seasonal themed game.


When you arrive you will have the opportunity to choose either our classic central London scavenger hunt game, or our seasonal game. Alongside both of these games, you’ll find an additional miscellaneous list of seasonal challenges. So it’s up to you if you want to go all out for the time of year, or mix and match a little festivity with some classic scavenger hunt style fun.


Our classic central London scavenger hunt game, finds teams following a route around some of London’s most iconic sites, while interacting with various landmarks in order to complete tasks and challenges, to earn their team points. If you complete enough tasks and challenges within the route, you’ll also earn your team bonus points.


In our Valentine’s seasonal game, you’ll need to decipher, and then fill in the blanks in a rhyming love poem. Each answer will lead you to an item, which can be used in a list of tasks and challenges. If you complete enough tasks and challenges, you’ll feel the love and receive some heart racing bonus points. Our seasonal games have been designed so they balance evenly against our classic scavenger hunt, meaning any team can win!


If you’re feeling competitive, some well planned tactics, and a careful balance between game sections goes a long way! If on the other hand you’re all about the silliness, then forget the tactics, just strap on your best fancy dress and get ready to have some fun!


BucketRaces goal is for participants to discover new places, activities and hidden gems within London, while meeting like-minded people and competing in a fun and friendly environment.


What you need
All you need is a well-charged smartphone more than one per team is advised, and comfy footwear. BucketRace will provide the rest.

Scoring
Each task carries a specific amount of points based on its difficulty, location, and BucketRace classification e.g. location, miscellaneous, or seasonal.

The location tasks score the least points; however, completing enough of them unlocks hefty bonus points. Miscellaneous tasks score more points, but they don’t offer any bonus incentive. So choose wisely!

It’s also worth noting that most of the BucketRace location tasks have been written in order of the quickest route. The exceptions are the final few tasks within each section, which have been chosen to fit the culture of each area and can be performed anywhere within that location. Any teams who arrive at the finish late will forfeit a cumulative 50 points every 5 minutes.

Task Submission
Tasks are submitted via mobile using google forms. Players must have an email address, and be willing to sign-in through Google to play.

Before your game, you will need to register for the event on our website. After you've purchased your ticket, we will send you the registration link via email.

T&Cs

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    This was a great bespoke experience that truly breaks the ice and offers a lot of excitement. Laurence and the team helping him did a great job and were very thorough from the first day I contacted them to the end of the game. Having done escape rooms and non-personalised scavenger hunts, I wanted something a bit different and more personal without breaking the bank. And that is exactly what I got. From the fun challenges and riddles to the care put into communicating with my guests, it was a great experience that I recommend.
